What are the new obligations for payment-service providers starting from January 1, 2024?

From January 1, 2024, payment-service providers will be required to store data on cross-border payments by payee and transmit this data quarterly to the tax authority. This is to help detect VAT fraud and improve competitive conditions in e-commerce.
