What is e-Residency, and how does it affect my citizenship and tax residency?

E-Residency is a digital identity offered by Estonia for foreigners interested in conducting business or using Estonian e-services. It does not interfere with your citizenship or physical residency. Your personal tax residency remains unchanged, but if you establish an Estonian company as an e-resident, that company becomes an Estonian tax resident.
